Privacy policy

This policy explains how Babel Group Inc (“Babel Group”, “we”, “us”) handles personal information collected through babelgroup.io. Our brands, such as Jungle Bravo, have their own privacy policies on their own websites.

What we collect

• Contact form: your name, email, company, topic and message.
• Job applications: your name, email, phone, location, portfolio link, CV (if you upload one) and your answers to the role questions.
• Referral details: if you arrive through a job-post link, the campaign tags in that link (such as utm_source), stored in your browser for up to 90 days and sent with your application.
• Security: to stop spam, we use your IP address for a few minutes to limit repeated form submissions. It is not saved with your message or application.

How we use it

To reply to your message, to assess your application and contact you about it, to understand which job posts bring good candidates, and to keep the site secure. We do not sell personal information or use it for advertising.

Applicants

Applications are stored in our private applicant database (Notion) and CVs in private file storage (Vercel Blob). Only the people involved in hiring can see them. We keep applications for up to 12 months after the role closes, unless you ask us to delete them sooner or you join the team.

Service providers

We use Vercel (hosting and file storage), Notion (records) and Cloudflare (DNS). They process data on our behalf and may store it outside your country, including in the United States.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, or withdraw an application, by emailing admin@babelgroup.io. Depending on where you live, laws such as Canada’s PIPEDA, Australia’s Privacy Act or the GDPR may give you further rights.
